Claudio Bravo came to his knees in the Copa America stadium as all his teammates came running behind to hug the goalkeeper in a joyful manner, people began to celebrate this moment of victory of Chile for the second time.  Players stood near the stage as the winning team carried the trophy. After 120+ minutes of passionately playing on Sunday, Chile once again proved that it deserves to be in the limelight after winning the 4-2 penalty kick after the 0-0 draw match in the finals of Copa America.

Chilean striker even complimented themselves as a historic group. This victory of Chile in a row is exactly the same as they won last year knocking out Argentina on penalties after a draw match of 0-0. Chile’s Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi remarked and complimented that Argentina’s team is great and is it not the best then it’s very close for being the best. This was a match which sealed Messi’s efforts again. Being goalless after 120 minutes Argentina last the finals by 4-2 penalty kick. And unfortunately it made Lionel Messi to make a decision of getting retried from the international matches as it seemed that Messi took all the blame of this lost chance over himself. In the start Messi appeared to be calm, confident and there was no sign of stress but once again at an international tournament Lionel Messi missed the penalty kick and distress covered up all his face at once. Now people are looking forward on the decision of Messi to quit, as the god of football is announcing for his retirement.

Football is bizarre. Copa America’s trophy is once again in the hands of Chile in their history, and for the second time they beat Argentina in back to back finals without even scoring a single goal. After 45 minutes of violence as stated by Messi, both teams went atrocious over each other and started playing recklessly.  Even on the smallest hits players seemed to hurt up themselves badly. After a short rare span of peaceful playing the next 30 minutes seemed very stimualtuing and looming at the anxiety of losing control over oneself.

The finals seemed to be turning out a mess rather than a game of honesty and dignity. The goalkeeper Claudio Bravo also made exceptionally marvelous backward jump in the extra time to stop the ball to hit the goal post. Coach Juan said that they had a strong team who didn’t lose hope till the last moment. The match went exactly the way Chileans wanted to play it without even giving the opposing team members to play freely. More important to know is that this time Argentina changed their style of playing in order to face Chilean players.

For Argentina finals are actually turning into big loses as they lost 7 sequential finals at Copa America in 2004, 2007, 2015 and 2016, the confederations cup 1995 and 2005 and world cup in 2014. What actually matters is the team effort and unity which helps in going till the end and to prevail the winning trophy.  Those 4 winning goals were taken by the people who were far away from the limelight and made Chile to win Copa America once again. The world soccer elite is an exclusively classy club, but while Chile buoy up the Copa America once again the name grew much wide and clear.
